Welcome to the Kendall Regional Medical Center (KRMC) Emergency Ultrasound Fellowship Page.

The KRMC Fellowship in Emergency Ultrasound is a one-year program. KRMC is an academic community hospital located in Miami, Florida. It is a busy Level I Trauma Center and Burn Center and in addition holds Comprehensive Stroke and Chest Pain Center designations, treating more than 90,000 patients annually. Emergency Ultrasound is an integral aspect of Emergency Medicine at KRMC.

We have a three-year Emergency Medicine residency program and a dedicated faculty with additional fellowship training in a variety of specialties, including Pediatrics, Simulation and International Medicine.

Ultrasound Fellowship Education
This fellowship will begin in July 2020. Fellows will undertake a year-longs curriculum based on ACEP recommendations to achieve expertise in Emergency Ultrasound. The objective of the fellowship is to provide fellows with all the skills needed to excel not only as Emergency Ultrasound directors but also as leaders in the Emergency Ultrasound community. Fellows will participate in additional ultrasound courses and workshops throughout their fellowship.
